Friday 03 December, 2010 and visit the home and office of the truly inspiring designer Nicolas Gwenael on National Culture Day. Based in Tokyo for over 20 years, Nicolas and his design team 'Curiosity' designed and curated Tokyo Design Week 2010 using the themes of BLUE & ENVIRONMENT.  Finally, Emma Elizabeth signs off from Tokyo Design Week 2010 on a Dutch note, featuring the amazing exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo "Catalysis for Life: New Language of Dutch Art & Design".

Monday 29 November, 2010 and made a visit during Valencia Design Week 2010 to the CuldeSac head office for the pre-launch of JAPAIN. Japan + Spain = JAPAIN.   Now Emma Elizabeth visits the exhibition at Tokyo Design 2010. Working with illustrator Paco Roca, the CuldeSac team transformed and transported a series of Spanish design works to the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo, with stunning design results!

Sunday 21 November, 2010 has another huge day in Tokyo, visiting the pop-up Llove Hotel created for Tokyo Design Week, featuring each room designed by a different designer.  Emma Elizabeth finds designer Tokujin Yoshioka, spots Frame Magazine's Robert Thiemann , and then shares a  traditional Japanese lunch with Antoine Varlet from Moet & Hennessey Diageo and Costas from  As the day draws to an end, everyone meets at the home of the original Pecha Kucha, 'SuperDeluxe' for a sake and more design love.

Thursday 18 November, 2010 and select their favourite container design...... "Hope Tree" by 24° Studio which we just found out actually won: Environmental Container Design award! Off they trot to Rippongi district to view Jaime Hayon's new porcelain collection for Kutani Choemon, followed by some quirky new Japanese phone trinket designs with Iida and Alessi.

Tuesday 16 November, 2010 and spend their first day at Tokyo Design Week 2010 exploring the exhibitions to find little design gems amongst the giants of Fujitsu and Mitsubishi  - such as the Paperself paper eyelashes (in 'clown'), and Stav Axenfeld's wonderful roman numeral sugar.  Watch emma Elizabeth and Costas shoot a defenceless lamp!  This is the new improved version of the vlog!
